The journey opens where the Americas' faith begins: at Tepeyac, before the tilma of Saint Juan Diego, with Mass, an evening Rosary and a candlelight procession. Millions come here every year, and standing in front of the image — a cloak that should have rotted five centuries ago — you understand why the Guadalupe apparition converted a continent in a single generation.
From Mexico City the road turns south and west through colonial Mexico: Puebla's tiled cathedral and Rosary Chapel, the sanctuary crowning the great pyramid at Cholula, the baroque gold of Santo Domingo in Oaxaca, silver-built Taxco and its Church of Santa Prisca, Morelia's rose-stone cathedral and the lakeside shrine of Our Lady of Health at Pátzcuaro. The last stop returns to Tlatelolco, where Our Lady appeared to Juan Diego's uncle — closing the twelve days where the story itself closed.

Depart from the USA for your overnight flight to Mexico City.

Day 02
MEXICO CITY
Arrive in Mexico City. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, celebrate Mass and see the miraculous image of Our Lady on the Tilma of St. Juan Diego. Evening Rosary and Candlelight Procession.

MEXICO CITY
Visit the Historic Center: Metropolitan Cathedral, Zócalo, National Palace and the Church of St. Francis. Continue to the Shrine of St. Juan Diego.

MEXICO CITY / PUEBLA
Drive to Puebla. Visit Puebla Cathedral, the Rosary Chapel and the Church of Santo Domingo. Overnight in Puebla.

PUEBLA / CHOLULA / OAXACA
Visit Cholula and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies, located atop the largest pyramid in the world by volume. Continue to Oaxaca for dinner and overnight.

Explore Oaxaca City. Visit the Santo Domingo Church and the Church of Our Lady of Solitude. Celebrate Mass. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the local culture.

OAXACA / TAXCO
Travel to the beautiful colonial silver city of Taxco. Visit the Church of Santa Prisca. Time to explore this charming pueblo blanco. Overnight in Taxco.

TAXCO / MORELIA
Drive to Morelia. Visit the magnificent Morelia Cathedral and the Church of St. Rose of Lima. Evening at leisure.

Visit the charming town of Pátzcuaro on Lake Pátzcuaro. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Health. Return to Morelia.
